These terms govern the use of the escapegamegenerator.com website and the Escape Game Generator app (the “Service”), published by Grangus Corp, 6 rue d’Armaillé, 75017 Paris, France (“we”). By creating an account, you accept them. The French version is the reference version.

1. The Service

Escape Game Generator lets you play narrative escape games and create them with the help of artificial intelligence. The Service is in development (beta): features may change, be interrupted or contain errors.

2. Account

• You must be at least 13. Between 13 and the age of majority in your country, you use the Service with a parent’s agreement.
• Account information must be accurate. Keep your password confidential; you are responsible for the use of your account.
• One account per person. You can delete it at any time by writing to us.

3. Stories you create

• Stories are generated by AI from your choices and ideas. They may contain errors or inconsistencies; review them before publishing.
• You keep the rights the law gives you over what you contribute (ideas, texts, edits). By publishing a story, you grant us a worldwide, free, non-exclusive licence to host, display, make playable, adapt to the app’s format and promote it, for as long as it is published.
• Generated texts and images must not reproduce a protected work, a trademark or the likeness of a real person without permission.

4. Code of conduct

You may not use the Service to publish or generate content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexual content involving minors, inciting violence or infringing the rights of others; to bypass technical limits, automate access or disrupt the Service; or to impersonate anyone. We may remove content and suspend or delete an account that breaks these rules. Report any content to contact@escapegamegenerator.com.

5. Gems and premium

• Gems are a virtual currency of the Service with no monetary value: they cannot be exchanged for money or between users and are not refundable, unless the law requires it.
• Creators receive gems when other players play their published stories, according to the rate shown in the app, which may change.
• Any purchases or subscriptions go through your phone’s store (Google Play) and follow its payment and refund terms. The 14-day EU withdrawal right does not apply to digital content supplied immediately with your consent.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, its brand, logo, code and graphics belong to us. You receive a personal, non-transferable right to use it in line with these terms.

7. Liability

The Service is provided as is, in beta. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or for loss of content or gems caused by an interruption of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits the rights your country’s law guarantees you as a consumer.

8. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account for a serious breach, or discontinue the Service with prior notice whenever possible.

9. Changes

We may change these terms. For any significant change, you will be notified by email or in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect; if you disagree, you can delete your account.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law, without depriving you of the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence. In case of a dispute, write to us first: we look for an amicable solution. Consumers in the European Union can use the consumer mediator free of charge: [TO COMPLETE: name and website of the consumer mediator], or go to the competent court.
